For over a decade, we have been operating within downtown St. John’s, and we have come to know the business community, as well as the people in the area. Combined with our past experience of hosting conferences, retreats, meetings, and other corporate events, we know what it takes to make sure your event goes well.

Monastery Business Spaces and Events
Our facilities offer you the ability to work, play, and relax all without going outside thanks to our underground tunnel between our two buildings. As well, your attendees are able to stay on-site in one of our suites, which eliminates the hassle of a commute and also allows them to truly enjoy what we have to offer.

Our main rental room is available Monday – Friday at $350/day,  half day rental is $250.  Weekend rates are $450/day, half day rental is $350.   Rates are subject to change if also booking guestrooms and/or food and beverages.  Depending on your needs, tables and chairs will be provided and set-up in an appropriate manner. The room’s capacity can vary depending on this set-up, but the maximum is fifty in a theatre style arrangement. There are also auxiliary rooms for small discussions. As well, we are able to provide a projector for $125/day, and a variety of catering options are available.

Past conferences

In the past, we have hosted Husky Oil, PCO, Pennecon, Ministers of the Status of Women from Atlantic Provinces, and many more.
