Not only are we the largest Aveda Concept Spa in Atlantic Canada, serving tens of thousands of delighted guests for over 20 years, but we are a perennially favorite destination for all aspects of beauty, relaxation and rejuvenation. Ours is a reputation that was never simply bestowed, but earned, though a dedicated and tenacious pursuit of excellence – always ensuring that a Monastery Spa experience lives up to the name, and all the many delights that this entails.

Since 2014, Monastery Spa has been under the ownership of Dion and Dora Finlay, stewards of The Leaside Group of Companies that include Leaside Manor, Compton House, Monastery Hotel, Leaside Executive Apartments, Arnold’s Cove Inn, Riverside Therapeutics, Landmark Events and Passport Media. “When the opportunity came along to take over this illustrious local institution, myself and Dora just couldn’t walk away. And now it is the crown jewel of our operations,” Dion explains. “We’ve always been people-focused in all our businesses, providing not only the very best in services and hospitality, but also in delivering consistently memorable experiences for our clients and guests. Monastery Spa was a perfect fit with that vision.”
